A sanctuary for solitude

An eco experience that will satisfy even the most well travelled nomad.

Enter via long bamboo archways laden with marigolds, an ice cold coconut and a big, joyous smile await you at Bambu Induh.

Just over an hours drive and world away from the non – stop motion of Seminyak. This Ubud space is made just for “you time” – and guarantees you leave with a light, peaceful mind.

A collection of beautiful, traditional Javanese bridal houses make up the property. These individual homes are perfectly positioned around a fresh water pool and organic garden, all set above the constant, gentle flow of Ayung River.

With so little, yet so much to do it is easy to loose track of days and time here. The Spa situated on a private, antique Javanese joglo, overlooking at the Sayan rice terraces hosts excellent massage and its more than likely you can have the yoga space just to yourself. The all organic menu of onsite restaurant ‘Dapoer’ offers some of the best meals we have tasted in all of Bali. Ingredients which cannot be grown on the property are all sourced from nearby farms and local growers. The smells of the open air kitchen will allure you many times a day!

Founder of the property John Hardy, has created a fully sustainable ecosystem for his own home and guests. See more about his Green School recycling and education programs here.

Be sure to book this escape here in advance it is an experience that will satisfy even the most well travelled nomad.
